Fourth of July may be behind us, but the folksy summer revelry continues. The Dunedin Orange Festival celebrates the North Pinellas city's history as a onetime hub for citrus packing and growing. Enjoy a mojo cookoff contest with recipes by popular Dunedin eateries, craft brews, the city's annual duck derby, a kids fun zone and activities in the park, Miss Dunedin Orange Queen pageant and live music from 6 Volt Rodeo (4:30-8:30 p.m.), the Shakes Society (8-9:30 p.m.) and others. The event takes place during the day and evening with a Sunset at the Marina mini-fest, and for the first time this year, Orange Fest After Dark. Proceeds from the fifth annual event will go to the Dunedin Historical Society and the Dunedin Chamber Foundation.
