The Hillsborough Community College Ybor City School of Visual and Performing Arts Gallery present Florida artist of repute Rocky Bridges, whose solo exhibition of mixed-media assemblage goes beyond functionality — works that make us think about the transience of what's useful and manufactured in the material world. "In all of my work, I hope to celebrate the beauty and material existence of the discarded object," Bridges says. The artist has recently coordinated great collaborations locally and regionally, making his moment in the spotlight that much more deserved.
