He’s co-owned and operated The Buzz coffeehouse, he promotes local film with monthly showcases of Tampa Bay moviemakers, he wrote a well-received book called The Dark Side of Sunshine with evocative narratives about Tampa’s seedy past, he’s the senior writer at Cigar City Magazine and he has written and produced a number of award-winning independent films, including Charlie Wall: The Documentary. And his biggest challenge yet? Changing baby boy Ben’s diapers. The Buzz is at 710 Harbour Post Drive on Harbour Island. Coffeehouse Films is held every second Thursday of the month.
