People of the ’Burg already love their St. Pete Bagels, baked fresh daily and served with end-of-the-world-sized helpings of cream cheese. But donuts? Since donuts will be taking over as the next food trend (so long and farewell, $5 cupcake) our minds were primed and ready for the new venture. Red velvet donuts? Donuts with bacon? Topped with fruit loops? Don’t fight it, just bite it. And we did, and it was delicious. Kudos to St. Pete Bagel for being the first to dip its toes into the funky fried donut waters. Our only hope is that others follow your lead.
