LET THEM EAT LOBSTER! Maybe you're one of those cheapskates who consider lobster a rich man's dish, but you can enjoy it often at reasonable prices with the help of Allen Berube, a former Maine native who runs two outstanding restaurants specializing in dishes made from the crustacean. Dining there won't set you back all that much, as the chunky seafood chowder -- sporting fat lobster chunks, onion and potatoes in a creamy broth -- sells for $5.50 for a 12-ounce container, and only $8 for a 16-ouncer (subject, of course, to changes in market prices). And let's not forget my fave, Allen's tantalizing lobster rolls ($8), cold lobster chunks glistening with mayo and lounging upon a fresh hoagie roll.
