Join a national conversation about the importance of the arts and arts education. Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and now Fox News Channel television host, will moderate a panel of prominent artists and top elected federal, state, and local officials, including Bernie Williams, acclaimed musician and former New York Yankees centerfielder, and Mayor Scott Smith of Mesa, Ariz, the vice president of The United States Conference of Mayors. Opening remarks will be provided by Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Americans for the Arts President & CEO Robert L. Lynch. ArtsSpeak will immediately be followed by ARTSjam, featuring Amaury Gutiérrez, the 2011 Latin Grammy Award-winner for Best Singer-Songwriter Album along with Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Dan Warner.
