The next experimental show to hit Mojo features Amrita "Ami" Kaur Dang, a Baltimore-by-way-of-New Delhi vocalist, sitarist, and composer/producer who brews up a mix of North Indian classical music, ambient electro-house, and disjointed noise-polluted dance pop she's dubbed "Bollywave." Dang currently travels with a percussionist, Kate Levitt, who has performed with the Dan Deacon Ensemble and is a current member of the Wham City collective. This is a free, all ages ’MNF Outreach show as presented by Brigid Ochshorn (No Milk opens), but donations to the artist are always appreciated. Also performing: Slag Ralden.
