The Jeff Norton Awards
Named in memory of a much-beloved local actor (left), the Nortons are Tampa Bay’s Tonys: a way to recognize the best work of the theater season. Last year’s inaugural awards show was fun and the communal spirit uplifting, but there were complaints that the nomination process needed some tweaking. Participating theaters have been toiling all year to do just that. 7 p.m., The Palladium, St. Petersburg.
