On Sat., April 18th, spring was certainly in the air—and more than 600 Tampa Bay area residents helped us ring in the season by sipping on local brews at The Coliseum in St. Pete for a 1950s rock & roll themed celebration of all things hoppy! Attendees enjoyed samples from 15 local craft breweries, music, activities, vendors, food, and more. Admission included beer sampling tickets; one ticket got a 3-ounce taste and 4 tickets earned a full 12-ounce pour. Extra drink tickets were available for purchase for $1 each.
Other things happening at Spring Hops included: local vendors Sunshine Canning, Hopcloth, Hifi Homebrew and BBQ Supply, and Toasted Barley featuring PicoBrew; custom pint glass DIY by makeme studio; Ladies of Local Craft Beer panel; House of Homebrewing Q&A; photo booth by Premier Photo Booths of Tampa; and Jim's Harley-Davidson "JumpStart" demos!
A portion of proceeds from Spring Hops went to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
