We really liked Yummy house on Waters about 4-5 years ago....not so much anymore...perhaps they are spending all their quality time at their new restaurant on Hillsbourough.....and DON"T WHATEVER YOU DO ORDER THE POT STICKERS---THEY DEEP FRY THEM---TERRIBLE DRY...AND THE FILLING WAS NOT GOOD EITHER. If we had eaten inside the restaurant and not take out, I would have sent them back to the kitchen and not paid for them....and it seemed with the other dishes, they are using a lot of prepared brown sauce (purchased no doubt in vats) and then just spice up according to individual recipes....the Hunan Beef was'nt really Hunan Beef, the Spicy Yummy House Chicken tasted similiar to Hunan Beef only with battered fried chicken pieces...even the Clams in Bean Sauce seemed to have the same brown sauce with a wiff of beans in them...and all the recipes had ann over abundance of green peppers only...with green onions and white onions...where are the asian vegetables?...I know the Salt and Pepper Calamari would have been better had we eaten it there...but even though not as crispy, it was good. and the vegetable fried rice was good...so in the future I am staying away from anything that could possibly have a brown sauce....but better yet,...I will not return to this once very good restaurant....
