Re: “Tribune, Times editorial pages call on local GOP not to re-nominate Jim Norman to ballot

Bill Ingram about Bill Bunting, Great artricle and I always knew Bill's one beat politics would be his undoing. Hammer has been upset with Bill for many reasons as no one who tries to up stage the Queen of gun rights would be tolerated for long. To bad if Bill had focused his energy on other things he could have been a force in politics in this area.

Re: “Another poll shows majority of Floridians love Stand Your Ground

People who like Stand Your Ground usually like bumper stick slogans and the logic that bumper sticker slogans supports. In Fact the NRA owes most of its success ot bumper sticker logic and that's why they continue to use it.

Re: “Guns R Us

NRA says SYG doesn't apply to this case? Sure the NRA who wrote the law now doesn't want to be associated with a very flawed self defense law. Now the NRA and state prosecutors will pick and chose which cases this law covers? Sorry NRA you are struck with a law you made and the conflict between Zimmerman and Martin will be judged by this law, because now there is no other. It is not uncommon after a shooting the shooter and victim knew nothing about this new self defense law, but defense attorneys who considered this law to be a defense attorneys dream knew about it and state prosecutors who considered it a nighmare knows that by law he must base his prosecution on the statues in this new self defense law.

What is the first move by the defense? A request to the judge to drop all charges because my client has asserted the NRA right of sell defense by uttering the NRA magic words in the Stand Your Ground law, "I felt threatened."
