My endo prescribed me Synthroid for thyroid suppression after discovering thyroid cancer and having a partial thyroidectomy. all my blood tests come back normal and i have no single symptom of having any thyroid problems at all. its been 2 years since my surgery. Now my new doc wants me on meds and I just cant wrap my mind around it, but I am willing to do it. So, after researching Synthroid, I asked to be prescribed Armour only to be told by the nurse in a voice mail that the doc strongly recommends against it.......blah blah blah......and to start my Synthroid. This thread only encourages me more to fight her or find another doc. Thanks for everyones input here.
