I was warned by a friend who lives in Ohio, of Duke Energy. He said the service is terrible and the cost of service is overwhelming. I shudder to think of how they are going to stick it to us.
Great Article Scott!! Best quote of all,"they're usually better at everything that matters".
After seeing the "new Superman" I thought it was alright but, I kind of hoped the big wigs in Hollywood would expand a bit and do a movie say of the martian man hunter John Jones or the Flash. The new suit idea was okay I guess but, even as kids growing' up, the look of Superman was classic. The movie had a lot of bang but, the story line still was pretty much the same. Typical summer movie fare but, no big deal.
At least it's a start that sounds propitious!!
I was first introduced to Felix through the fact that, his dad was my dentist. My dad kept telling me here's a real musician. When I went to the Choo Choo club, and I saw them for the first time. It was electrifying. Good to hear that after all these years they are touring. Wish I had gone to the concert.
Good to see and hear Senator Bob.Doles views on the Republican party. We could really use a Bob.Dole now in this time frame.
Back in the 60's, I worked a show called headsup. Believe it or not, we got ratings through the roof. We had no playlist and of course, the corporate got greedy and decided that what we needed to do was get a playlist. Bang! there went our wonderful ratings, Bang,Bang, goodbye ownership of the station and hello Clearvoice communications. See what I mean? Even W.M.N.F. in all it's glory uses a playlist. If people could just get rid of that playlist, it would really change the turf of f.m. radio.
