Remember that phrase"think talk"? So, we'll have to sit on our hands as the senate "think talks"our medicare and medicaid insurance. Which means, we'll have to accept whatever they come up with because of duration of time. Is that fair? No!! Don't you think they had enough time?"Elimination of a FHIX provision that would have placed patients in the state’s Medicaid managed care program for five months, until the state insurance marketplace is up-and-running on Jan. 1, 2016. Under the new proposal, coverage would not be offered to the 800,000 eligible, low-income Floridians until January, eliminating the July 1 start-up and temporary Medicaid holding area".="THE NEWLY MINTED REVISED HEALTH COVERAGE PLAN". And Gardiner says,"there's no agreement on any of this". There is that slippery slope again!
this is so depressing to read. How did this guy ever get elected to this office? This subject has to be discussed in order to find that strange alternative, that he has intimated about. He sure is bombarding the media, with asking people to support his views, by telling them to call Tallahassee to support them.
She's going to vote yes on President Obama's new stimulus package deal.
I have pondered the same question Michelle, and I can only think that it was because he promised lower taxes and people believed him. Sometimes, I ask people who voted for him, and they just say that he's for lowering taxes. Thinking back as to when first he ran for public office; didn't he take the 5th almost 80 times about his business ethic? I guess people in Florida think that he's pretty devious, and that is supposedly good ethics.
For God's sake; It's not about what the President wants, it's about what the people of Florida want. Once again, Scott is running Florida like it is a business. And if he fails to pull this one off, he can always plead the fifth as he has done in the past. The fact that Teachers in Florida don't make enough money and, that education has been sorely treated is nothing new to Floridians. The people of Florida have spoken resoundingly to the Governor but, does he hear them?
I'm disappointed in our Florida congress and our governor. Both governor and congress knew in advance that, because officials say it's more efficient to give people money to help buy health insurance than to pay hospitals for caring for the uninsured retroactively,They have decided to hold the state of Florida hostage. We put these people in office, how is it possible that they have us in bondage?
Too bad we can't exact the same criteria for the Florida congress. We take away their insurance, until we are satisfied that we are getting what we voted for. Representation.
