I want to congratulate you, Janis Ian, for your song At Seventeen. I'm originally from Nicaragua but I've lived in the US since 1983 and despite the fact that I really love unusual styles like your own, I had never heard this song until very recently and I frankly love it because it's so different, like nothing else. For some reason it puts me incredibly at ease while the soundtrack takes me back in time to a better place in the 70's when I was a kid. I hope you keep making works like At Seventeen because many of us are so thirsty for a much more personalized, more relaxed, unconventional style like yours. Thak you very much! :)

sorry I think I blogged to the wrong thing. Does undercovered band still exist. My friend Herb is with them. Oh well can check their website. In sarasota we like gilespi band and gas house gorrillas, democracy eclipse etc etc, ,Kate
