Re: “Detours & Diversions: History and Hot Dogs South of the Skyway

Sorry you are sick of St. Augustine and its history. While you are visiting former plantations with a history of slave labor, you might check out Fort Mose, the first free black settlement in North America. The first legally sanctioned African-American town in the nation was founded in 1738 in Spanish Florida. Former slaves escaping their English masters founded Gracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose, a military community, which is today known as Fort Mose. Today Ft. Mose is a Florida State Park and yes it is in - gasp - St. Augustine. The history of the Nation's oldest city is very diverse and there's a lot more to it than Ponce de Leon and the Fountain of Youth. http://www.fortmose.org/

Re: “My husband wants me to sleep with other men and sleep with me right afterwards

Let's keep it real for all the women who think that their husbands are looking at them as " hot" wives- that they want to share you and make the WORLD jealous...BS. The number one hidden reason behind these cowards encouraging their wives to sleep around is because they had an affair and want the wife to settle their hidden guilt. They're too weak minded to own their sin, so they turn to more and take you with them.

Re: “As S.C. Confederate flag debate rages, controversy over Tampa Confederate flag gets rekindled

Dear Mr. Marion Lambert:

Since you are the individual who erected this monument, you can take it down. It has been up for seven years. While you seem to believe that it is a symbol of history, you must admit it is also a symbol of hate and slavery. What a shame that our country was ripped apart by a war over a way of life that required slavery to exist. It is time for all of us to stop being divisive and I ask you to please be sensitive to our community, our citizens, our visitors - Please take down this monument and turn it into the world's largest American flag.

I beg you to consider this before someone gets hurt trying to take down your flag. Some young person is going to get harmed or arrested because you force this on the community. I am a 63 year old woman and it crossed my mind so more impulsive young people are thinking the same.

Please make a show of love, Christianity, kindness, sensitivity. Quietly take down your flag and we will all be grateful to you for your new positive contribution to our community. Please.

Re: “How to have an affair without getting caught

Ever since my husband got me divorced for the past 2 years, i v'e not been my self. I was reviewing some post of how i could get back my husband then, i saw a testimony shared by Marina Choas from SWEDEN about a spell caster named Dr. Ebakor. I contacted Marina Chaos to confirm about how Dr. Ebakor helped her and she clarified everything to me of how he helped her and that gave me the courage to get in touch with Dr. Ebakor for help. Dr. Ebakor assured me that my days of sorrows will be over within 12 to 16 hours after he has finished with his work. I followed his instructions he gave to me because i had the believe, faith, hope and trust in him. Verily i say to you today that i and my husband are back together and i can proudly say and testify to the world of what Dr. Ebakor did for me. Contact him today via E-mail: [ Doctorebakorspelltemple@hotmail.com ] OR call me for more info +1 (912)-387-2094 if you seek for his help.

Re: “"Mockamole"- Not quite guacamole, but just as good

Hmm... This stuff was tasty. Did it resemble guacamole in any way? Well, they're both green. But even then, this stuff is entirely the wrong shade of green. Smell, flavor, texture, nothing about this otherwise pleasant paste is anything like guacamole. It was good, but mostly it's just too sweet and not nearly thick or creamy enough to compare to real guacamole. Though I bet a good slather of it would go well on a sandwich with lots of meat and cheese...

Re: “Who cares? As voters evolve on LGBT issues, pockets of resistance still lurk.

“Rewind to just five years ago,” said Nick Janovsky, who consulted on Rice’s and Beckner’s campaigns. “We had Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. We had no marriage in any state in the country."

This is completely wrong. Five states had legal same sex marriage five years ago: New Hampshire, Vermont, Iowa, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Mass has had same sex marriage since 2004. That's a pretty big fact to botch for someone who does this stuff for a living.

Re: “As S.C. Confederate flag debate rages, controversy over Tampa Confederate flag gets rekindled

I hope that some people who love the rebel flag, will display it on their property. That way, they will get exactly what they want. I think the stars and stripes are enough for me. After all, that is about freedom of choice; the greatest freedom of all. That's what the world envies us for.
