"We need funds," Julie Vogel, secretary of the association and one of the four core board members of the group, told the Dunedin Patch. "Not only to become a 501(c)(3). We need funds to actually start the garden."

The Angelus is looking for volunteers to help with its newly formed local food production operation to help support its residents. The group is planning to work on their community garden and food forest and to fill up their green houses and accessible garden with lots of fruits and vegetables.
Getting started can be as easy as "planting the seed" with teachers who are of like mind, community groups such as Boys and Girls Club or Garden Clubs to work outreach with local elementary, middle, or high schools.
