HART officials seriously looking at putting rail stop at Tampa International Airport

Channel 10 reports that Tampa attorneys are investigating e-mails between Louis Miller and Cyndy Miller
Deeson reports that "Both Millers explain that they share the same e-mail account and say the e-mails were just an attempt by the former airport director to be able to read the e-mails at home. However, one of the e-mails from this past June says from Louis to Louis and Cyndy Miller. The e-mail talks about a developer requesting a change in zoning."

Times story paints Bean in bad light - but will Commissioners act?
Commissioners have reacted hot and heavy to revelations about Pat Bean over the last year, but they have always held back from firing her. Louis Miller gone from TIA by this Thursday?
If Miller's last day is this Thursday, it only adds to the intrigue of what's really going on at Tampa International Airport. It was less than a week ago that Miller stunned the Tampa Bay area when he announced he would be stepping down in April, after nearly 14 years on the job.

Times on Louis Miller's sudden resignation: You owe us an explanation
The Times asks in their op-ed: Doesn't (Miller)e have an obligation to the community to fulfill his contract? The recession is forcing many challenges on TIA, and the airport needs a steady hand at the helm. If there are larger issues with the director or the board, the public deserves to know them as well. The timing is simply too convenient for the airport director to walk away from months of public infighting.

Under Miller's tutelage, TIA has grown to be considered one of the finest airports in the country. However, there had been criticism on several fronts lately, and Miller's previously impeccable reputation had taken a few shots in the process.

Razing of Tampa International Airport building now delayed
With this new revelation, the demolition has now been delayed. This is something that board member Steve Burton had requested last week. Not that the demolition not take place, but that there be an analysis about the board's options regarding the nearly 40,000 square foot building.
