The Sixth Annual Bicycle Bash is all about celebrating bicycling in the Tampa Bay area, hosted each year by SWFBUD (South West Florida Bicycle United Dealers). Bicyclists of all ages and skill levels can participate. Vendors line the Riverwalk with live music, food and a swap meet 10 a.m.-4 p.m. In addition, Andy Clarke, president of the League of American Bicyclists, and Tim Bustos, executive director of the Florida Bicycle Association, meet and greet bicyclists after the Bash on Sun., Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at The Independent Bar in Seminole Heights. On Mon., Nov. 5, there will the Tampa Bay Bike Summit 1-4 p.m. at the Tampa Bay History Center — "The Big Turnaround: Bridging the Divide to Become A Great Bike Town" — with SWFBUD and County Commissioner Mark Sharpe.
