Despite Florida being one of the worst states for available affordable housing, Tampa is apparently the best city in the country right now for first-time homebuyers.

According to a recent report by real estate website Zillow, Tampa currently ranks number one in the U.S., with a median home value of $213,600, a population rank of 19, and a share of listings with a price cut of 24.8 percent.

Las Vegas came in second, followed by Phoenix and Atlanta.

Tampa does indeed have a pretty solid housing market for potential buyers, but surprisingly other Florida cities like Orlando and Miami also made this list. Last week, a new study from the National Low Income Housing Coalition named Orlando as literally the worst place in the country for affordable housing.

So, maybe don’t fully trust the “Zestimate.”
