
Last year, an Austrian man, Maqsood Lodin, 22, was detained for questioning in Berlin after returning from a suspicious trip to Pakistan. Memory cards and a digital storage device were discovered in Lodin's underwear. Hidden on those devices were two pornos labeled, "Kick Ass," and "Sexy Tanja." After several weeks of what CNN describes as "laborious efforts," investigators discovered more than a hundred al Qaeda documents encoded inside the videos. These documents included terrorist plots, blueprints for future operations, and training manuals. Lodin is currently on trial in Berlin.
This is not the first time porn has been involved on both sides of the war. An Iraqi gang kidnapped an Egyptian man who looked like Saddam Hussein after he refused to help them make a fake sex tape of the former dictator. Also, before the 2003 Iraq invasion, the CIA considered creating a video featuring a Saddam lookalike having sex with what appeared to be a teenage boy.
