Tidying up Tampa

DOCKED: At a cost of $240,000, the Bayshore Marina Demolition Project led to the removal of all of the marina’s dilapidated fences, docks and pilings. This was regarded by many as one of the more frivolous pre-RNC projects. Although the docks were not generating much in the way of income, and little interest had been shown in restoring them, they were more of an eyesore than a danger to the general public.
