A great double-bill! Two neo/retro lounge acts extraordinaire – The Vodkanauts and Stolen Idols – appear together for one night only. Stolen Idols open the show with their potent cocktail of beatnik bongo jazz, Latin jazz and exotica. They are one of only a small number of ensembles in the world currently presenting exotica authentically with acoustic instruments and a Latin jazz sensibility. The Vodkanauts offer a Power Lounge show where, in an alternate world, Dean Martin and Neil Diamond share equal billing with Danny Gatton and Hank Marvin, where reverb-drenched surf freakouts segue into a small jazzy combo playing a Vegas nightspot.
Boring, boring, boring! Totally agree with previous poster: totally amateurish, overly silly and below par voices. Why does the Straz put on 3rd-rate shows in the Jaeb Theatre? Is it because they want to stuff the subscription calendar with cheap shows to make it look like a worthwhile season??
Im not able to open the link to buy tickets...
This Show ROCKED!!!! Every band was AWESOME!! Looking forward to Round 4 !!!!
This band totally kicks ass, and Chester Castellaw is a bad, bad man. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
FYI - RRC is not, nor has it ever been a two piece. If you're going to keep up to date with local music please at least check your facts.

Wonderful family fun! The hunt is over really fast so get their early to secure your kid's spot on the field in time. The Golden Egg gift is very special.
When is this event? Fri or Sun? What time? Thanks!
Awesome show! I manged to get a last minute seat in the front row. Very lucky, as this is likely one of the last chances to see him live on stage. Gallagher performed for over 2 hours, with jokes and social commentary. There was a lot of audience interaction, and a few people were called on stage to help perform bits. Much of his humor is improv, and Gallagher was constantly ad libbing jokes.. He's the definition of the term "old pro".
Naturally, he smashed a few grocery carts worth of food and not just watermelons. Birthday cakes, pie plates full of mashed potatoes and rice, syrup, mayo, etc. About a dozen audience members came onstage and took turns using the sledge-o-matic. By the end, I was fairly covered head to toe in food, mostly on the plastic poncho and bags provided.
I definitely got the impression that his onstage personality is real, not just an act. He even got misty eyed for a moment when someone in the crowd thanked him for his career. Gallagher lost his train of thought briefly, took a few questions from the audience, then continued his act.
Overall a great show. Gallagher's a class act, there's no other show like his. Let's hope he comes back sometime.
Enjoyed the play! All the cast was great.
These guys are fantastic. Go see them.
This will be my 4th year going, can't wait! Not like any other baby event or expo out there!!
Went to this last year and it was great. Breastfeeding, baby wearing, and cloth diaper help under one roof... count me in! Dad and kids are excited for the drum circle and face painting!
what time is this?
Saw it last night. Fay and Averill-Snell will knock you socks off.
When posting events, in this age of GPS, doesn't it make sense to give an actual address?
This was such a great event and for a good cause as well. If you missed this one, it's not too late to see The Rolling Valkyries this year. Our season is just getting started. We're traveling throughout Florida for away bouts for the next couple of months but then we'll be back at home on May 18th at Sunderman Complex in Palm Harbor. Come check us out! It's great fun for the whole family.

Re: “"More Than I" EP Release”
This place doesn't deserve any stars from me, or the people I brought out to see Kasondra Rose on Saturday, May 4th, 2013. Not only did the bartenders suck, but the owner needs to take a class in "People & Politeness". After we shelled out clearly more than $100 on Craft Beer, and tipped the bartenders more than any other patron that has come through their doors, the owner decided to remove our beers from our table, sit them on a window sill, and told us that we could sit at the high top table in the corner. This is while we stood up for a mere minute to see the conclusion of the Kentucky Derby. He, along with his staff, have absolutely no business being in the service industry. That being said, I know for a fact, that we will NEVER patronize his pathetic little bar again. The Ale & The Witch clearly doesn't belong in downtown St. Pete, and they need to hop on their brooms and fly out of town!
