Re: “21st Annual Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt at Coachman Park

Wonderful family fun! The hunt is over really fast so get their early to secure your kid's spot on the field in time. The Golden Egg gift is very special.

Re: “Gallagher's Last Smash

Awesome show! I manged to get a last minute seat in the front row. Very lucky, as this is likely one of the last chances to see him live on stage. Gallagher performed for over 2 hours, with jokes and social commentary. There was a lot of audience interaction, and a few people were called on stage to help perform bits. Much of his humor is improv, and Gallagher was constantly ad libbing jokes.. He's the definition of the term "old pro".
Naturally, he smashed a few grocery carts worth of food and not just watermelons. Birthday cakes, pie plates full of mashed potatoes and rice, syrup, mayo, etc. About a dozen audience members came onstage and took turns using the sledge-o-matic. By the end, I was fairly covered head to toe in food, mostly on the plastic poncho and bags provided.
I definitely got the impression that his onstage personality is real, not just an act. He even got misty eyed for a moment when someone in the crowd thanked him for his career. Gallagher lost his train of thought briefly, took a few questions from the audience, then continued his act.
Overall a great show. Gallagher's a class act, there's no other show like his. Let's hope he comes back sometime.

Re: “Natural Birth & Baby Expo

Went to this last year and it was great. Breastfeeding, baby wearing, and cloth diaper help under one roof... count me in! Dad and kids are excited for the drum circle and face painting!

Re: “Roller Derby Revolution's Inaugural Brawl

This was such a great event and for a good cause as well. If you missed this one, it's not too late to see The Rolling Valkyries this year. Our season is just getting started. We're traveling throughout Florida for away bouts for the next couple of months but then we'll be back at home on May 18th at Sunderman Complex in Palm Harbor. Come check us out! It's great fun for the whole family.

Re: “The Old 97’s

Definately a show not to miss! Anyone with tinge of twang won't turn down this gem of a show with the entire "Too Far to Care"album played and danced to, and sung by all yee ole 97s troopers out there (and we know who we all are). From the first chords of barrier reef's ...empty bottle was half empty, tide was low and I was thirsty, saw her sitting at the bar, well you know how some girls are...to Broadway's enough to make a crooked man go straight..to streets of where i'm from are paved with hearts instead of gold..to I'm calling time and temperature just for some company sang in Big Brown Eyes..and finally that heart-wretched Salome where I'll find another lady and you'll wreck another man..Rhett and the boys will put on show to talk bout for years.

Re: “Sister Sin

Both Sister Sin and Doro were fantastic, and at the top of their forms. There were also three of what I believe were local bands there, and two of them, Right Turn Penny, and Seven Kingdoms, both featuring female lead singers, were really pretty good too. I'll be checking both of them out.
