Re: “Will medical marijuana ever be legal in Florida?

marijuana is all natural and not to be a bible thumper but it does state that " Seeds represent concepts that apply both to the natural realm and the spiritual realm simultaneously. " wouldn't that also include marijuana?

Re: “Where in the hell are the professional gays and lesbians?

It is also surprising and dismaying to see that we have no gay political organization serving either Tampa/Hillsborough, or Pinellas County.

I was very surprised on moving here to see no real grassroots membership-based organizations advocating on behalf of the community's interests. People in Hillsborough especially seem to like just lying down and allowing themselves to be run over by the homo-hatred juggernaut that has existed since the days of Rhonda.

Witness no rising up over the wholly unsuitable Kemple appointment to a "diversity council," which is like giving the KKK a seat on a commission on race relations, or a wife beater a spot on a status of women committee. Why is there no annual gay pride celebration in Hillsborough? Why do people here have so little interest in organizing and networking, whether for professional, political, or cultural purposes?

These things are ultimately ways of public service to the whole community. Where are the gay folks?

Re: “Tampa Bay Unified Auditions registration ends at 5 p.m. today!

The auditions are apparently a scam to drive paid membership in some theater association that's been created. Legit auditions never require you to pay anything.

Re: “Does penis size matter? Yes.

most men are intimidated by large cocks...I had with a girl..who had been married for 20 years..her husband packed a 10" cock..but she had never had an orgasim in the missionary position, ever..until with me and my little old 6 incher...I made her feel a women before I ever got near her with my little old boy...the second time she just wanted me in her to have that feeling again...its all about the four play...but all women fantasise..if they've never had a large one they will always wonder what its like..and dont deny it ladies ?

Re: “Ed Turanchik and HMS Global Maritime introduce proposal to bring high-speed ferry rail to Tampa Bay

i love the idea of mass transit... but this is a horrible idea that has no benefit to the community at large and only addresses a very small contingent going to a very specific area.

Re: “Mi Ranchito: Lunch, pets and an oil change

Its amazing, how peple if we ca call it people, dedicate themself to write such trash as above, nevertheless, we at mi RANCHITO, HAVE BECOME MILLIONARE IN THE PERIOD OF (5) YEARS.
WE HAVE TWO LOCATIONS, The pork is the best in town, the petshop store is/was a next door busines irrelevant to the restaurant, whicvh is a family orientated cafe, for family who love clean and healthy food. The facts of Mi Ranchito cafe are contrary to the garbage statements made above by a none educated baster, lier, envious of hard working and propered humans, more power to MI RANCHITO CAFE, AT COLUMBUS AND HAVANA. Re: “Hands Across the Sand draws a line against oil drilling and fracking

Energy may be "cleaner" but it is far from clean. I have been in Louisiana for almost a year now and what big oil has done to this state is deplorable. I am from Florida and would really hate to see such natural beauty destroyed by greed.

Re: “Hands Across the Sand draws a line against oil drilling and fracking

In the end people just want clean air to breathe... how hard is it? We have technology to stop tearing up the earth and ocean and have clean air and energy. I just do not understand why people fight it so hard. As a tax payer I would rather have my money go to taking care of people and the environment... you can always make more money but you can't get new lungs or come back from dead. I know a handful of people who have died from lung cancer and never smoked a day in their lives... what else are we breathing in? It's time to put a stop to it.

People think .. more more more... When Earth Hour takes place once a year.. I turn my lights off for an hour.. and people do it all over the globe. Big companies... Coors beer brewing in Colorado... turned off "non-essential lights" for an hour and we saved sooooo much energy!! Enough to fuel the power needed for over 80 houses for over a month. And that's just one hour one day a year! And just an example in the united states. I would gladly do that once a week! It's time for change and to get informed.

Re: “Hands Across the Sand draws a line against oil drilling and fracking

Interesting. Do these people know how clean our energy has become while still using fossil fuels? Do they also understand that their support of renewables will increase their utility bills, gas, food and other products up to five times what they are presently paying? Are they prepared for this increased cost while relying on a less dependable source of energy for electricity?
