What a great haunted house. Free, too! Beats Howl-o-Scream by a mile.
Pioneer Park is in the middle of Downtown Dunedin. There is tons of shopping and dining surrounding every part of the park. Events are pretty much every weekend from Farmers Markets to bands playing and kids dancing. The stage is nice and there are plenty of trees. Great park and great location!
Our visitors always want to go to the sponge docks. The food is delicious and it is just so nice walking along the water and seeing the boats. There are also lots of events to enjoy, especially in the spring and summer.
have eaten here twice and breakfast was very good and very cheap prices. Just be sure to bring cash cause they don't accept debit or credit cards...:( otherwise, we really liked the food and service.
real german food made from scratch, even the sausages and Leberkaese they serve.Delicious!!!
The Faith Center has a large dining room that will hold about 500 seated guests. A commercial kitchen. There is a stage for performances. The acoustics are good with a separate sound room.
consistantly rated one of the best restaurants in south county and on the beaches.Snappers has been feeding the natives for years. Many seafood items and suprisingly great steaks. All dinners are served with a salad, veg., potato in puff pastry and a flatbread and hummas starter. NO ALA CARTE" HERE !!1
Although this is tagged as a trade school, The Chester H. Ferguson Law Center is the home of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and Foundation offices and offers premier event space in downtown Tampa. A beautiful banquet hall is complimented by a spacious lobby and pub/lounge area. The Center also offers conference space with state of the art AV and street level free parking. You will want to check out this downtown space for weddings, business meetings, charity events, etc. 813-221-7777
We had been to the restaurant once before, rather late, and it was ok, but our last dinner was very good - oysters (of course), corn and crab chowder and the special: an excellent steak cooked perfectly. We came back for the Sunday brunch, also very good with a mimosa and bloody mary bar. The staff was friendly and the service well-paced for a relaxing meal.
We really liked Yummy house on Waters about 4-5 years ago....not so much anymore...perhaps they are spending all their quality time at their new restaurant on Hillsbourough.....and DON"T WHATEVER YOU DO ORDER THE POT STICKERS---THEY DEEP FRY THEM---TERRIBLE DRY...AND THE FILLING WAS NOT GOOD EITHER. If we had eaten inside the restaurant and not take out, I would have sent them back to the kitchen and not paid for them....and it seemed with the other dishes, they are using a lot of prepared brown sauce (purchased no doubt in vats) and then just spice up according to individual recipes....the Hunan Beef was'nt really Hunan Beef, the Spicy Yummy House Chicken tasted similiar to Hunan Beef only with battered fried chicken pieces...even the Clams in Bean Sauce seemed to have the same brown sauce with a wiff of beans in them...and all the recipes had ann over abundance of green peppers only...with green onions and white onions...where are the asian vegetables?...I know the Salt and Pepper Calamari would have been better had we eaten it there...but even though not as crispy, it was good. and the vegetable fried rice was good...so in the future I am staying away from anything that could possibly have a brown sauce....but better yet,...I will not return to this once very good restaurant....
This concert has been performed throughout the Tampa Bay area and received great compliments from numerous audiences. The intertwining of Cole Porter's life story with his wonderful lyrics and musical compositions make for a tremendous evening of entertainment! This is a performance you will not want to miss!!

Bright House Field is a beautiful facility. It's fun, well laid out, immaculate, cheerful, easy to get to and the activities there are diverse and fun. To Tampa Bay residents, it's one of the best places to do something fun and affordable and if you haven't checked out a game you've been missing out. Whether during Spring Training with the huge showing of Phillies fans or during the Threshers season you really ought to check it out.
I travel for a living and I have had barbecue at many different places. I have never heard of cinnamon causing tooth rot, and if a few flies bug you, then steer clear of anywhere that serves food. As far as Alabama John's Real Pit Bar-B-Que, its family owned and operated. Its as though you stepped into their kitchen. I love the vibe and the food equally. They recently overhauled the whole place and moved it one lot over, so you might give it another chance. There's also a place on Dale Mabry but if you didn't like Big John's then you don't need to know about Mrs. Campbell's.....ooops. It's got an almost identical flavor and they serve killer man n' cheese and greens that aren't too shabby. Try to stay open minded though, they have human beings working behind the counter and they are bound to do some real sh**. If you want to avoid flies and cinnamon, eat at Apple Bee's.
This band is amazing! Fun, upbeat music, great entertainers. Can't wait to see them here.
Great space right on the water across the street from Corey Avenue. The St. Pete Beach Community Center is next door that has a pool/water-park open during the warmer months. They have events every weekend in the park including a market on Sunday.
This is an excellent space to see dance. Great Facility! Awesome ticket prices.
Thank you for posting Julie.
I gave you an incomplete email address in case folks have questions. I should have given you firstname.lastname@example.org - sorry about that - perhaps my five star review will get their attention!
Please check out the facebook page for this 2 day event at:
"Asap Music Benefit" for the list of performers etc.
I have not found ANY good "authentic southern" BBQ. It's all too sweet and cooked to fast in smokers that were too hot. Cinnamon-flavored baked beans??? really now. No wonder all-you-all's teeth are rotted out.
