St. Pete's Il Ritorno will host its family-style take on the Feast of the Seven Fishes next month.

At least two Tampa Bay restaurants plan to embrace an Italian-American tradition on Christmas Eve — and they're both in downtown St. Pete.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes, also known as La Vigilia, is a seven-course dinner spotlighting dishes of fish and other seafood. Il Ritorno will host its family-style take on the celebration from 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 24. Tickets cost $115, and for an extra $55, the meal also includes wine pairings. For reservations, diners should give the modern Italian restaurant a call.

Later that evening, on the second floor of Locale Market, FarmTable Cucina's own Seven Fishes feast kicks off at 7 p.m. Guests of the casual, Italian-inspired eatery can purchase their $125 tickets — and add on another optional $55 wine pairing if they'd like (I mean, seems worth it) — online in advance.

We haven't made it through Thanksgiving yet, nope. But seats at both dinners will likely fill up, so snag some ASAP.
