Hey look — it's Saturday! Go see some live music! Here's a breakdown of what's happening on this 9th day in April.

Napalm Death, Melvins with Melt Banana Greg Reinel’s NSFW poster for this “Savage Imperial Death March Tour” date is pretty fucking righteous, and just about sums up the avant-loud nature of the bands playing it. Mimicking the exaggerated style of vintage film posters, it features an intimidating whip-holding Nazi dominatrix (with black censor bars that don’t quite cover her nips) and over-the-top sales-pitch lingo that works in each band name: “Ilsa, She-Wolf of The Melvins, An Iron-Fisted Reign of Napalm Death… she committed crimes so vile, even Melt Banana feared her! (Warning: Some members of the public might find certain scenes in this show shocking and offensive.)” (Orpheum, Ybor City)

Let It Be - Beatles Tribute For the cast of Let It Be, a Beatles homage that’s had successful stints on both Broadway and in London's West End, the music never ends. The show is divided into two acts: the first cramming as many classic Beatle tunes as possible within the allotted time and the second featuring a slew of hits that each member racked up during their respective solo careers. With a quartet of seasoned musicians who look, dress and sound a lot like Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr, this promises to be a spectacular way to catch the concert that never was. Check out my full interview with the actor/musician who plays Harrison, JT Curtis, here. (Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater) —Gabe Echazabal

Rock for a Reason A charity concert to raise funds for two youth-oriented nonprofits – K.I.D.S. Campaign, which offers financial assistance and second wishes/gifts to children with cancer and their families, and Predator Patrol, a community awareness organization focused on sexual predators and offenders. Fifteen bands donate sets of music to the cause including Heene Boys, a hard rock/metal group consisting of all kids. Other performers include Against My Will, Deathstar Thrive, Vapid and Demented Truth. (Brass Mug, Tampa) —Justin Croteau

The Wilson Van The Wilson brothers (media maven Paul, news anchor Mark and Hollywood actor Patrick) have been playing Van Halen covers and other 1980s-era classics for charity as The Wilson Van since 2009. This very special performance marks the launch of their newly-formed Wilson Family Foundation, a nonprofit dedicating to supporting local charities that promote the arts and help veterans, first responders and children with special needs. Another siblings-fueled local band, The Ries Brother, warms the stage with their much younger (teen-aged) rock-outs. (State Theatre, St. Petersburg)

Hideaway Cafe 7 Year Anniversary Seven years and Hideaway Café & Recording Studio is still going strong with a calendar of open mics, stand-up comedy amd intimate listening room-style concerts featuring local talents and nationally touring artists nearly every day of the week. The festivities start at noon for its anniversary party, with an added outdoor stage, special editions of “Living Room Live” and headline performances by The Hummingbirds and TC Carr & Bolts of Blue. (Hideaway Café & Recording Studio, St. Petersburg)

Morgan Page This show was supposed to be happening at Amphitheatre, Ybor City. Due to the unfortunate fire at the venue this past week, the concert is not happening there. Whether it will be re-scheduled at a new venue is TBD.

Rock & Roll Dance Party with Holey Miss Moley, Twisty Chris & the Puddin Packs, Little Sheba & The Shamans Enjoy a little bit of funk and a little bit of punk spiked with garage, soul and surf sounds when three local bands spur a whole lot of twisting, hopping and jiving for this ‘60s-vibing shindiggy. (The Blueberry Patch, Gulfport)
