American Idol's premiere sweetheart had to cancel her scheduled dates in Tampa and West Palm Beach on September 15 (at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater) and 17, respectively.
In her official statement, Clarkson wrote, "So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all back on the road soon."
No word yet on whether or not she will eventually re-schedule, but at this point, all tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.
