New Music Tuesday! (January 13): The Ting Tings, Mark Ronson, Panda Bear & more

Releases out this week; audio & video included.

We're kicking off January 2015 with a nice slate of new releases.Info and links for the ones you want to know about most below, plus some other ones you may not have heard of (but should know) – with audio & video for your listening and viewing pleasure.

Borgore, The Buygore Album (Buygore Records)

California XNights in the Dark (Don Giovanni Records)

Dr. Dog, Live at a Flamingo Hotel (Anti-)

Justin Townes Earle, Absent Fathers (Vagrant)
Steve Earle's prodigal son presents the companion album to last year's Single Mothers. He hits Crowbar on February 16 in support. More info here.

Guster, Evermotion (Nettwerk)

Liam Hayes, Slurrup (Fat Possum)
The enigmatic alt pop artist also known as Plush presents his fifth full-length. When Flavorwire asked about the inspiration behind his Wes Anderson-style video for the single "Fokus," Hayes (called a 'fried, lovelorn Bacharach' by The Observer),” joked, "The video could be viewed as a kind of Public Service Announcement that highlights the virtues of leading a sedentary life while simultaneously creating awareness for not overdoing it with exercise.” Check it below...

Kat Dahlia, My Garden (Epic)
I was prepared not to like the Miami singer-songwriter and rapper at all but was immediately charmed by her eclectic hip hop grooves, melodious velvety-voiced flow and overall hot-girl-but-ain't-sweatin' it swag. Timbaland and Missy Elliott had a hand in helping producer her debut studio album, too, which makes me even more intrigued. Check out "Crazy" below.

Dan Mangan + Blacksmith Club, Meds (Arts & Crafts)

Panda Bear, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper (Domino)

Mark Ronson, Uptown Special (RCA)
The new Mark Ronson track, "Uptown Funk" with Bruno Mars? That's the jam, man. Disco-jiving made-for-ass-shaking electro-funk dance grooves. Not too sure yet about the rest of the latest album from UK producer/multi-instrumentalist Ronson but this track can probably carry the whole album, it's so finger-licking good. Check it below, see if it doesn't make you want to get down.

Ty Segall, Mr. Face EP (Famous Class)
A gatefold double 7" EP that includes four tracks and doubles as a playable pair of 3D glasses — pressed on translucent red and blue-colored vinyl, you just look through the records to activate the 'supercharged' 3D artwork. Vintage boppin' title track below.
