So I dreamed up my ultimate list of St. Pete restaurants and bars with food critic Jon Palmer Claridge. The best way to see The 'Burg is on foot, so we created a walking-friendly route to some of the best bites and drinks downtown. And wouldn't you know it, everyone said yes. So, as part of our Creative Loafing Festival, and for one simple price, you'll get to try five of our highest-rated and most beloved spots in St. Petersburg.
The walking tour begins tonight (April 18) at 7 p.m. with Banh Mi sandwiches and Boba teas at La V (a favorite Jon and I's).
We'll meander down the block to Mandarin Hide for some handcrafted cocktails from Tony Finotti. And folks on the tour get to try Have Gun Will Travel's Cigar City specialty brew, High Road Ale.
Next, we'll walk to Ale and the Witch (a regular craft beer haunt for me and mother others downtown). Tour attendees will get a free Ale and the Witch pint glass, and half-off their first craft beer. Plus, we'll get to sample a smattering of BBQ from Ale and the Witch's new restaurant the Witch's Den.
Then we'll head down Beach Drive to 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House for some fresh seafood appetizers from Chef Anna. And we'll end the evening with dessert, under the stars, at the Vinoy's 4-star Marchand's Bar & Grille. Tickets are $25 and include everything listed above. Space is limited so get your tickets now!
