Every man has a smell. Some are worse than others, those are usually the men that think Irish Spring still smells good. Or worse, they don't believe in bathing at all. If you're a beer-lover, like me, you look for beer in the nooks and crannies of everyday life. Lip balm, clothing, home decor.
Recently I found myself thinking about the things I love. I love beer, I love my man.
Why can't my man smell like beer?
Guess what, he can. It's called beer soap and it's the hot new trend everyone is getting into. Seriously though, it's pretty genius and a great stocking stuffer for male or female beer-loving counterparts.
I picked up a brick recently at Cigar City Brewing's tasting room in Tampa. For $5 I got a homemade bar of soap made by the Dancing Goat with recycled grain from CCB's Maduro Brown Ale. The brewery has one made for Jai Alai too. Each bar is hand-crafted by Pam Lunn at Dancing Goat Farms, known locally for her great goat milk soaps. Pick up a brick in-store or online.
It's local, cheap, eco-friendly, and your man will smell like Cigar City beer. That's what we in the business call a win-win.
