The Great American Beer Festival wrapped up last week in Denver, Colo. Two Florida breweries took home medals — 254 were handed out — from the three-day competition.

In the Field Beer or Pumpkin Beer category, Cigar City Brewing took home a bronze medal for its Cucumber Saison. They placed in the top three against 63 other entries.

Melbourne-based Florida Beer Company won a bronze medal in the classic English-Style Pale Ale category for its Hurricane Reef Pale Ale. They placed in the top three against 29 other entries.

The Great American Beer Festival is presented by the Brewers Association and is the largest commercial beer competition in the world.
