The first "big" protest: More pictures from the March on the RNC

Masked
The March on the RNC began this morning with a rally at Perry Harvey Sr. Park. Marchers then took to the streets of downtown Tampa on the designated parade route, terminating in one of the public viewing areas assigned by city officials. There were no big commotions or serious interactions with the police, who were ever-present but seemed to abide by what city officials had promised — to protect both the city and freedom of speech. CL's Mitch Perry has more on the smaller-than-expected rally here.
