One of the Tampa Bay area's most anticipated film fests is letting you in its inner circle.
The 2012 Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is a few months away, but early-bird discounts on festival passes.
The pass includes the Crown Circle pass benefits: admission to all 30-plus films, access to the green room (beverages), reserved seating, free festival closing night party, a full year's admission to all monthly film series screenings — and new this year — a reserved parking space near the Tampa Theatre with your name on the meter. Only a dozen Simply Fabulous Passes are available this year, and TIGLFF is offering a coupon on the pass.

Says TIGLFF: "We're still in the process of choosing this season's films (and the picking look better then past years); since we are essentially the last of the year's major LGBT filmfests, we can gauge the audience reaction to films in other festivals and pick the best. We'll also have some of our regular attendees picking this year's shorts."
Upcoming special events presented by TIGLFF: Hedda Lettuce, the beloved “Queen of Green,” is coming from New York to share her marvelously mischievous talkback of Mommie Dearest on July 18 at the Palladium, and the Kinsey Sicks grope the body politic in time for the RNC, Aug. 24, when they share their Electile Dysfunction at Tampa Theatre .
