The Gaily News: Gulfport approves domestic partnership registry

St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster announced last week that he will extend same-sex partner benefits for all 2,600 city employees.
And earlier this week, Rhode Island governor declared that the state will recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere. This gives gay married couples the same rights as heterosexual couples married out of state, included health and life insurance benefits.
