Force score: Star Wars Week at the Bricks
The Ybor hangout celebrates like a Jedi with just a few trips to the dark side.

Nerd alert! Star Wars week!
The Bricks of Ybor has named April 28-May 4 Star Wars Tribute Week and are bringing the force with three events. Saturday, April 28, the week kicks off with I'd Rather Kiss a Wookie! Art Show presented by Kick Start My Art with DJ OP 1 playing Cantina-worthy jams.
Thirty-some Florida artists will be showcasing their best Endorian efforts. Star Wars IV: A New Hope (the original, for those not in the loop) will be shown at 10 p.m., Tues. May 1.
Wrapping it all up will be May the Fourth Be with You on you guessed it, Fri., May 4 at 10 p.m. Presented by Drunk Camera Guy with DJ Cub spinning.
Every night will feature drink specials and costume contests. So dress up as your best Princess Leia or Jabba the Hut, depending which side of the South Beach Diet you are on. Let’s just hope the Tron guy does not show up. That could make things weird.
