DIY Green: Turn glass bottles into mini oil lamps

Great as a table centerpiece and handy when the power goes out.

Here's a fun little DIY project you can try this weekend: Upcycling glass bottles into cute oil-burning lamps that would look great as a table centerpiece.

All you'd need are a few small glass bottles (Orangina bottles would look great), metal bottle caps, small grommets, wicks and lamp oil. The original project also fashioned a wooden holder for four of them, but I think they'd look great on their own as well.

Bonus use: They're great alternative to regular candles when the power goes out!
