Richard Branson wants in on Florida high speed rail; William Snyder moves on up in Florida Legislature, and Keith Olbermann's now mad at Ted Koppel: Mitch Perry Report 11.16.10

Even though Hillsborough County voters rejected a penny sales tax referendum two weeks ago, the issues of transportation in Florida and the Tampa Bay area aren't going away.  Yesterday board members with HART said at least they couldn't with a straight face keep on talking about what light rail corridors they needed to choose from when that very large funding mechanism is simply not available.

Richard Branson's Virgin Group and a company with a sorry past that includes sending Jews to death camps are among those who want to get in on the bidding for the Tampa-Orlando high speed rail line.

And remember William Snyder? The GOP state legislator who is sponsoring an Arizona style illegal immigration law?  He was named House Judiciary Chairman in the Florida Legislature yesterday.

And MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, proving it doesn't matter who does the criticizing, tries to get the last word again, this time in response to Ted Koppel's lamenting in an op-ed that he's sad at the success of opinion dominated broadcasts on Fox and MSNBC.
