What else can I say about the last two episodes of Top Chef: Just Desserts other than they were complete madness? I felt like I was going crazy just watching Seth lose his marbles, Malika whine and Heather C.'s all-around lack of self confidence.

The show has become somewhat of a train wreck because part of us doesn't want to watch, but the other part can't help but look on in shock and horror.

In a nutshell, here's what happened:

In episode three, the chefs had to create wedding cakes in an hour and a half. Seth proclaims that he doesn't do wedding cakes and does his own thing by making a piddly little "engagement cake". Malika whines throughout the episode about how the stress isn't conducive to her style and is cramping her creativity -- blah, blah, blah.

They then had to work on teams for a school bake sale, the Glee Club versus the pep squad. One team did high-end desserts, the other did more bake sale appropriate desserts. Heather C. throws her teammates under the bus but ends up getting cut for making peanut butter cookies that just weren't Top Chef worthy.

Episode four saw a load of crazy from the get-go with Seth flipping out about not being able to make his own ice cream in the sundae challenge. He gets pissed at the producers, storms out and ends up on the ground somehow with a paramedic standing over him (which is also a secret fantasy of mine). The producers send him home and magically bring back Heather H. who was kicked off last week. They finally got on with the sundae challenge and smug Morgan wins with a sob story about his kid.

For the Elimination, the chef'testants get in teams of three and have to use this crazy, goth-like Cirque du Soleil wannabes as inspiration for three desserts (one flambeed) and a show piece. More madness, whining and arguing ensue. We don't even get to find out who was going to be cut because Malika quits just as Gale Gand is raving about her dessert. Girl, you are so dumb.

Needless to say, we had a lot to say about these two episodes in the podcast.

Want to know what happened? Well then, you'll have to listen to the podcast to find out.
