Pacific Grill sits deep inside Riverview; blink once while on the road it's on and you could miss out on a great adventure into Asian cuisine. Offering Japanese, Chinese, Korean (perhaps the only restaurant in this area to provide Korean cuisine), and Thai cuisine is quite a bold thing to do, but Pacific Grill does it. Making specialized dishes from these different cuisines right is even more impressive. It's small restaurant with only room for small groups but they're very accommodating.

There are several Korean dishes to choose from: bulgogi (beef), galbi (ribs), and even spicy pork bulgogi (pictured left). The entrees are freshly made and have fantastic flavoring. Unique from other Korean restaurants, but remaining true to taste. The prices of each meal are very reasonable, the most expensive entree, Galbi, being $14.95. Korean restaurants in Tampa charge an arm and a leg for entrees, well over $20 -- sometimes even $30 -- but Pacific Grill offers these dishes at a much more affordable prices, helping people who normally will not eat Korean food enjoy it due to expensive prices have a taste of Korean cuisine.

Although the meals do not come with the traditional sides found in other restaurants, Pacific Grill offers rice and vegetables in return. When I inquired about the Korean food,  I found out the chef there has actually lived in Korea. The master sushi chef was also born and raised in Japan to give more credit to the authenticity of the place.

Members of our party arrived separately, however employees were patient and were helpful with questions during ordering. The wide variety of choices did provide a challenge in deciding what to order. I suggest looking ahead so you will have some idea what you want before you go. The Chinese entrees are more familiar items, such as General Tao's chicken. The sushi menu has the usual choices, with popular rolls such as the Mexican, Spider, and Dragon rolls. Pacific Grill brings many Asian cuisines to Riverview and provides an easier way for Brandon and Riverview residents to enjoy Korean food at affordable prices.
