Ken Mehlman comes out, but Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher knew it all along

The altogether unwelcome gayness of former Republican shill Ken "Bud" Mehlman is allegedly big news this week. Members of the gay community (including famous ex-straights like David Brock) are either offering Ken advice on how to handle the Big Reveal, or stifling their yawns/homicidal impulses. Gee, Ken, great to see you out, thanks for all the gay-bashing!
But as Stephen Colbert's Wikiality (The Truthiness Encyclopedia) suggested long ago, Mehlman's orientation was the worst-kept secret in Washington's closets.
