Why have sex? The dark motives behind doing the nasty

Some claim they have sex for love, because they're horny, or to fulfill a basic physical need. Darwin theorized that the primary motivation behind sex is to propagate one's genes, or to gain status and resources. However, these common assumptions largely ignore some of the darker reasons we have sex, which are surprisingly similar to the Christian's seven deadly sins.
Guilt: Guilty sex is popular with both sexes, especially of the long-term-relationship variety. Cheating spouses actual have sex with their partners
more out of a sense of guilt. Many women or men have sex with a person because they feel guilty for leading them on. Married couples often have sex because they feel guilty about not satisfying their partners.
Revenge/Wrath: Pissed off? Cheated on? Tired of being ignored? These are popular reasons for sex. Many have sex not for their own pleasure, but to induce pain in another. Screwing someone else might seem like a good revenge at the moment, but you'll likely have guilty sex with your partner to make up for your actions.
Boredom/Sloth: Many men have sex because they have nothing better to do. There's nothing good on TV and they aren't tired enough to sleep yet. This is also the reason many people give for finally having sex with a friend they don't find particularly attractive.
Pity: As sad as it is, many have sex because they pity another. Maybe that person's lover just left him or he's a nice guy who has pursued you for years. Perhaps he has a micro-penis that couldn't get you off but you don't want to hurt his feelings by saying no.
Money/Greed: You don't have to be a street walker to hustle sex for money. Many people have sex for the potential of gaining some material assets. Some have sex with a superior at work to help further their careers. Others screw for the promise of being treated to jewelry, dinners, and status. Some seduce a wealthy man in the hopes of landing a financially secure life.
Every person has sex at different moments for different reasons. While I believe the majority of people seek sexual gratification most often for love or pleasure, many are getting off for far more devious reasons.
