"Hi Deam Momma, I've been checking out your blog. Read the dream about the guy whose suitcase was covered with jewels. That night I had the same dream except my suitcase was more like a briefcase. Hoped it meant I was going to get rich cuz I'm busting my ass trying to make a living in Tampa." (sic)
Hmmm. Dream Momma thinks a lot of Tampa-St. Pete workers are busting their asses. Most of them are doing two jobs since their employers can't pry any money loose from the paranoid banking community to hire more people. It's tough.
Anyway, on to your dream. Briefcases usually do mean work but they can mean other things too.
I knew a guy who kept his passport, toothbrush, and a change of underwear in his briefcase, telling me, "Just in case." He never did get it that you can't run away from yourself.
So, you didn't tell me what you did but I'm guessing it's white collar. Jewels can mean money, that's obvious, but remember dreams are tricky. What else could jewels mean? Your jewels.
Like the guy who clearly understood his gem encrusted suitcase meant he found THE ONE, what could your decorated briefcase mean? What treasures do you bring to the workplace that could shine brighter? In today's competitive world modesty can be costly, so think about your psyche and your hidden treasures squirreled away like an insurance policy. Hey, the tough times are here NOW, dig them up and let them shine.
