USF's College of Art graduating seniors offer a final showcase of work in a diverse range of media for Literality -- everything form drawing to painting, electronic media, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. (Pictured: multimedia work by Chaz Smith, on display at Literality) On display through Dec. 13. West Tampa Center for the Arts, Tampa.

At American Stage's new Hot Off the Presses series, you could witness the unveiling of the next Death of a Salesman or the emergence of the next Edward Albee, when playwrights take the stage to read and reveal their original works to the world. All readings are followed by a talkback and an evaluation form to help guide the play's development -- so not only can you witness history, you can shape it. The first installment is

The Hurricane Brothers, with book, music and lyrics by Rob Hartmann and Todd Olson. Visit americanstage.org for more info. Mon., Dec. 7, 7 p.m., American Stage, St. Petersburg, free.

The SPC Orchestra Fall Concert includes works like the Francesco Geminiani Concerto Grosso in C Major (after Corelli, op. 5, no. 12), and Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major. Visit spcollege.edu/spg/music for more info. Mon., Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m., St. Petersburg College, Gibbs Campus, St. Petersburg, free.
