Fresh from the succcess of the Best of the Bay-winning Summer Sunset Cinema Series, The Studio@620 and Push Ultra Lounge once again team up to present a collection of classic films each Monday. Tonight’s selection in the Wilder to Williams Film Series — which includes the best of Billy Wilder and Tennessee Williams — is Williams' The Rose Tattoo, starring Anna Magnani and Burt Lancaster (pictured). Visit studio620.org for more info. Mon., Nov. 9, 7:30 p.m., Push Ultra Lounge, St. Petersburg, free.

If you enjoy being purposefully uncomfortable or experiencing induced claustrophobia, the Centre Gallery's latest exhibit, Hyperventilate!, is right up your alley. Artist Jordi Williams uses yellow light and oppressive sound to "create an environment that addresses the illusionary nature of social fear." The physical manifestation of social anxiety forces visitors to enter a room of whirring pinwheels, which they must carefully circumvent or step directly through. The superstimulation is intended as an interpretation of the feelings the socially anxious experience at a party. On display through Nov. 13. Visit ctr.usf.edu/gallery for more info. Centre Gallery, Marshall Center, USF Tampa, Tampa.

Arnold Swepson and Oliver Parson, the North Tampa Arts League's featured artists of the month, offer an array of sculptures and paintings. Parson's inspiration comes from the metaphorical symbols and African motifs he discovered on a trip to Nigeria some 30 years ago. Swepson's paintings are likewise inspired by Africa, and depict the people and wildlife of Cape Verde. An artist's reception is held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 6; On display through the month of November. Visit northtampaarts.com for more info. The Great Frame Up, 1646 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa.
