    The Table
is in the midst of another shake-up, with 717 South Michael Stewart, former GM Joe Moledo out and Andrew Wilkins (formerly of Mad Fish and Ceviche) in as GM. This comes after a long history of turmoil, including the loss of chef Pedro Flores earlier this year. Looks like the restaurant's new thrust will be for lower price points and fewer staff changes. The Columbia, OktoBEERfest, Domenica Macchia, and Grattzi's after the break:

  • The Columbia Restaurant has announced its annual "1905 Day" will be September 20, when the restaurant creates a special menu with dishes and prices that hearken back to its founding 104 years ago. Thing is, this year it seems more like prices from a couple of decades ago, instead of a century.

"Menu items will include: Chicken & Yellow Rice “Ybor” for $2.95, Boliche (eye round of beef) for $2.95, Merluza “A la Rusa” for $2.95, Columbia’s Original “1905 Salad” for $1.95, Sangria for $.95 cents, flan for $.50 cents, and their richly brewed American coffee for $.05 cents."

  • Details for Dunedin Brewery's OktoBEERfest have ben announced. Don't be caught unaware: the beer shenanigans start at the end of September!

"the beer will flow like water through rushing streams to awaiting glasses, food will be notoriously German in persuasion and paired perfectly with the beer, of course the music will be.. Well, music to your ears"
