Dreaming of a rain forest and a ladder to success

“Hi dream momma. I've had the exact same dream twice. I don’t really do much during the dream, but it is so vivid that i had to post it. So it starts off with me and my friend Alex in Miami. We quickly board a plane to Chicago,  and when we land I notice from the window that the airport and city does not look like Chicago (I’ve been there before). Instead it looks like a remote airstrip in the Pacific Northwest. Soon we meet a middle-aged dude (I forgot his name) and he explains that he has work for us. We ride in the back of his truck through a sinuous two-track dirt road through redwood-type trees for what seems like forever. We finally arrive at a warehouse complex in the middle of a temperate rain forest. It is snowing but all the vegetation is verdant and green. I change into winter clothes and soon I am doing menial tasks like screwing nails into the wall, climbing a ladder, and painting. Then I wake up ... very confusing. However, I had almost this exact same dream a week ago, same place, Chicago, airstrip, same tasks, and warehouse ... weird! What’s your take on it?

First, the dream repeats itself right? Well, that’s important. It comes back to say, “Hey, pay attention doofus.” Pay attention to what, you ask? That’s the tricky part. Let’s break it down.

It’s a journey dream. You and Alex are going somewhere but it’s not where you think.

Alex is the messenger and also the symbol in the dream. He is your friend and you need to think about how you know him but more importantly, what he is like. What characteristics does he possess? On a deeper level, what part of you is like Alex or what characteristic does he have that you admire? That’s key.

I also think this dream is about ecology. Is Alex into conservation? Are you? Do you need to be?

The middle-aged dude is your dream guide and a symbol of Mother Earth (yes, symbols can be trans-gendered). What does he want you to see and understand? It’s important because the dream has repeated itself.

You do a great job of imaging the wintry yet verdant rain forest. I can really picture it. Makes me wonder about a place that’s cold yet verdant. You climbing the ladder is a good sign. Where in life do you need to climb a ladder (and I DON’T mean work)? Speaking of work, I wonder if you’re deskbound and this dream has some compensation elements to it.

To get the most out of this important dream I suggest you answer all the questions Dream Momma has asked you and them answer all the questions those questions will raise for you. Good luck. Your life will change for the better (ladder) when you do.
