Don't be a high maintenace fuck buddy

It occured to me recently that fuck buddies are high maintenance. A fuck buddy can be someone you sleep with on occassion with no attachment or could be a couple you and your partner swap with now and again. I have met a few people who seem to be out fucking others purely for the psychological boost - they need to feel better about themselves. I consider these people high maintenance fuck buddies.
Attraction is something that comes from not only looks and personality, but also confidence. A person who is constantly fishing for compliments, in need of ego stroking is not attractive. Sadly I admit that I am that person from time to time, but who isn't?. I appreciate a man telling me I am beautiful and sexy, but I don't have to have that compliment to make me complete. I know I am!
Men on the chase of a woman (or women on the chase of a man) need to back off a bit if he or she desires to reach true fuck buddy status. Quit telling me how great you are at the art of chasing women. I know what you look like so you stop telling me how attractive you are. You think you are stellar in the sack, but so does everyone else in hot pursuit. The constant barrage of comments will weigh me down and turn just about anyone off.
I admit that I am a tease, a big tease. I can talk a good game, but quite honestly I won't follow through with all that talk unless you have something that works for me. So feel special if you are that lucky one to catch me! This means you aren't high maintenance. You play by my rules, you don't follow me around at a party like a sad puppy, and you don't attempt to win me over with overplayed compliments.
I am not here to make you feel better about yourself, I am not here to replace your spouse by any means, and I am not here to fall in love with. Fuck buddy is just that, a buddy.
