Here are some commonly used terms in the swinger culture, as defined by our resident swinging correspondent, Rebecca (a.k.a.: Soccer Mom):

Unicorn: Single female. This person will always be in great demand and rarely seen.

Bisexual: A male or female who enjoys being with someone of the same sex. This will include oral sex, mutual masturbation, sex with hands, toys, penetration etc. Females are widely accepted, but unfortunately males still face some stigma with this label.

Socially bisexual: Male or female who will interact in a sexual manner with the opposite sex while in public, but does not practice bisexuality as a lifestyle. I don't totally understand the purpose of this term, but would appreciate feedback.

Passively bisexual: Male or female who will accept attention from the same sex, but will not reciprocate. Personally, I am a taker and not a giver.

Bi-Curious: Male or female who does not have much experience or any experience sexually with the opposite sex, but open to the possibility. It's always good to try something new!

Gay: Male or female strictly attracted to those of the same sex. I have not met any strictly gay swingers, but that is not to say that no one in this lifestyle is gay.

Straight: Male or female is solely attracted those of the opposite sex. Most swinging men are labeled "straight", but only a handful of women are.

Full Swap: Couple will trade partners for oral sex and intercourse. Yes!

Soft Swap: Couples will trade partners and engage in oral sex only. Some of these couple will trade spouses/partners for oral sex and then have sex with their own partner in the same room.

Girl-Girl: Girls play with each other while the males watch. Seems to be quite popular among both men and women.

Voyeur: Watches other couples/people. I guess some just like to watch!

Open-Minded: Does not want to label self so they're staying neutral in all areas. I really have no other explanation as to why someone would label themselves as "open-minded".

Socially bisexual = attention seeking behavior. Aren't these the girls making out with each other at the club, while a group of gawking boys circles them?

Socially Bisexual= I usually call these people "heteroflexible". If we used the Kinsey scale, I figure they would probably be somewhere around a 1.5 or a 2.

Great article. When you join GEOSwingers there is an online Swingers Newbies Tips For Dummies section that has a lot of details for newbies. GEOSwingers.com is very unique swingers website in that there are these multiple levels of validation so you know who is REAL and with what level of experience. In fact there is even a validation that is completely confidential between members who have played with each other at the Full Swap, Girl/Girl, and Soft Swap the tree most popular swinging play levels. So you can search through member profiles and actually see who has been validated as having the REAL experience at these different levels. You can learn more about the different validations they have for members and why they are different then all the other swingers websites on the net by clicking here. http://www.geoswingers.com/real-validations toward the bottom of the page you will even see how there validation process is completely different then the others. To many of the sites online today are more interested in how many profiles they have even if most of them are just fake ones. GEO is very different. Anyone joining it will certainly see just that. http://www.GEOSwingers.com
