Help us pick the Top 50 Restaurants in Tampa Bay

When friends or relatives visit town, everyone has that mental list of go-to restaurants we always recommend, the kinds of places that are either iconic Bay area spots or just so damn good we know they won’t disappoint. For this year’s Food Issue, Creative Loafing is doing that list one better.
On June 17, we’ll print the definitive list of Tampa Bay’s Top 50 Restaurants. High-end to low-down, crab cakes to pancakes, we’re going to give you a rundown of the absolute must-visit food destinations our fine metropolitan area has to offer. Think you know the local restaurant scene? We need your help.
Below, in the comments section, we want you to recommend restaurants to go on that list. We'll reserve five spots on the Top 50 for the restaurants that get the most recommendations (no matter what I think of your choices). There's no limit to the number of times -- or restaurants -- you can recommend, so go to town. We'll shut down this post on Monday, June 8, at 3 p.m.
Then, starting on June 10, we’ll reveal the entire list on CL's Food Site, a week before it hits the stands, so you can vote for the best of the best in five different categories. Log on, vote in the poll, and make sure your favorite spot makes it to the top of the rankings.
Finally, on June 17, you’ll have the opportunity to pick the Bay area’s most outstanding restaurant from among the five category winners.

Paci's Pizza on Dale Mabry is by far the best pizza in Tampa Bay. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and entertaining.
Mr. Empanadas by USF. The only Empanada stop that has sofas and free wifi. Very Bull friendly!

I live in Plant City and the only really good restaurant out there is Napin Thai, 2410 James L Redman Pkwy. It's really fab. I also love Cilantro on 56th St. in Temple Terrace. Please put both on your ballot! Thanks, Jana Martin

Da Sesto's restaurant is by far the best AUTHENTIC italian restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. With their signature "olive ascolane" (stuffed green olives), you can't beat the wonderful dishes and flavors that Chef Sesto Ramadori serves up. Give it a try...you won't be dissapointed! Fabio P.

My fav has got to be Bin27Bistro. Excellent food, atmosphere, service and location. Lunches are incredible for power work lunches as well as dinners for nights out with the fam or friends. Sweet potatoe fries are addicting!!!
Da Sesto…Restaurant...I am tourist from quebec and i really love this resto with home pasta, panini, and olives farcies.
Hands down for the most enjoyable dining experise, it is DaSesto's Italiano Ristorante. Whether you select from the extensive menu inclusive of fresh made pasta daily with authentic sauces, custom ordered anti-pasto choices or a challenging special request, each meal is delightful and savory for even the most discriminating diners. The atmosphere is fun, yet gracious. I absolute gem and must visit restaurant in Tampa Bay.
For pizza by far, it's Pacci's Pizza in South Tampa. Denise, Skip and their team serve the best hot, fresh pizza in town.

DaSesto Italiano Ristorante, 7199 66th ST, Pinellas Park Absolutely the best Italian food in the entire Tampa Bay area. In fact, they even make their own pasta. Reminds me of home, and I'm full blooded Italian descent!
